    Which system is the best?
    I'll use it for AE, premiere, and 3dsmax

    I would 100% go for the hp dv6t i7.... the 720qm will perform better then that p8800 in those programs.

    The i7 is the better CPU so better for CPU intensive tasks such as the ones you mention vs the P8800. The HD4650 is better than the 230M especially if both are DDR3. So essentially the first system has the edge CPU wise while the second has the GPU edge os better for gaming for example.

    The difference between CPU's is much larger than the difference between GPU's.

    Get the i7.

    Even if the Nvidia 230m is a bit slower than the ATI HD 4650, it should do the job nicely since you dont rely on heavy gaming preformance.

    Advice: Get the Intel mobile i7 720QM.

    I recommend the i7 and GT230M... it would crush the other combo in CPU intensive stuff and with a slight overclock , the GT230M should keep up with the 4650...
