    HP laptop and 800MHz memory

    I have HP 6715S laptop , with AMD Turion TL-50 and 667MHz memory.If i buy 800 MHz memory will it work on 667 or 800 MHz ?

    Depends on your laptop, so look it up :) But both will work, i.e that if the lap can only handle 667 mhz, the 800 will downclock to it

    I know that , but I allready have 667MHz memory , and I want to change it.But I couldn't find any information about it.My Laptop FSB works at 800MHz , but if the memory would work on 667 , then i shouldn't change the memory.
    Thats why I want to know will it work , but I don't know how to find out

    I think only tl-62 and above support 800mhz memory. I could be wrong.
