    I have a HP mini 1010nr. I am trying to upgrade the 8GB SSD to a 40GB PATA HDD (TOSHIBA MK4009GAL 40GB 1.8") .

For some reason, the Bios is not recognizing the Drive. Has anyone else run into this and do you have any recommendations on how to fix it?

    Thanks in advance.

Did you ever work this out? I'm thinking of doing the same thing.
