I am having extreme trouble locating the "flex drive cable" to the 1.8" toshiba hard drive for the hp nc2510p notebook

i can buy a drive but then I cant find the cable, is this a special cable by HP or is it a standard cable that I just cant find? thanks in advance for your help!
on the flex cable the serial # is

I have the same problem locating the connector.
A call to the HP support resulted in the advice to buy a new harddisk from HP(!). There the desired connector is included. No seperate order for the connector possible because it is no spare part.
This would be an investment of 391.2 EUR.
If someone has a hint where to obtain the connector, I would be really glad!
