    Hello,

I'm trying to upgrade my laptop from Celeron M440 to Dual Core T2400.
The problem is that it's very unstable when both cores are turned on. Even Windows setup hangs on some moment; when only one core is turned on, the computer is 100% stable. I've tried both XP and Vista, it's the same under both. BIOS (updated to the latest version available on HP site - version F0) shows the proper processor, Windows have detected it, the temperature is about 50'C idle.

Has any one tried upgrading nc6320? Any suggestions?

    (edit):
I thought I have solved my problem :(
I downgraded the BIOS from the latest version (F0) to the previous one (FD). It seemed to did the trick - the computer worked stable for few hours, but on next start all random hang-ups camed back :(
