For some reason, your SSD is connected to a 3 Gbps SATA port. Are there any other drive bays on your laptop?
-
when i read your post i opend the bottom to check and i cant even find the insert for the second harddrive on the motherboard. strange!
is it possible that this modell uses the 3gbps sata port for the harddrive and thats why i cant get faster readings when i benchmark the ssd?
Edit: so i think i found the second drive bay but it dosent look the one that the ssd is connected to.
i took a picture of it. you think the ssd would work better if it was connected to this one istead? (2nd harddrive connection)

Yes.
I just wrote that.

First of all, that 'Ultimate SSD Tweaks' thread was written in 2009 and is from SSD He!! (OCZ) - tell me you DID NOT FOLLOW IT!
Secondly, forget the 'scores' - is your system really 'still' as slow with the SSD installed?
Third: do a clean install of Win7 including all the necessary drivers for your system.
Fourth: install the latest IRST drivers from Intel (11.6.2 WHQL).
Fifth: ignore any and all 'tweaks' for SSD's - especially from 6 dimensions ago and especially from evil overlords like OCZ.
Advice: Don't chase benchmarks - your benchmark should be 'is it faster than what I had before', not 'is it as fast as other/modern/current platforms'... -
You would need to make sure that you have a SATA III port that the SSD is plugged into to get the speeds you desire.

But you honestly have no clue why OCZ is... uh... hmmm... 'not liked' around here?
