    Thanks for the quick response!!!

Do you think I should get 1x2gb stick or just get 2x2gb sticks? I don't want any computability issues with different types of ram.

I found these from NewEgg. They're pretty good price at $75.

Or the 1x2gb stick at $43 with shipping - NewEgg.

    Thanks!

If you can afford the 4GB, then go for it. But do remember that if you chose the 32bit OS, then you will only be able to use ~3.2GB of the 4GB RAM. But the tx2000z should definately support 4GB and since it is the max for the system you are good to go even if you deicde to upgrade to 64bit in the future.

Yes did you get the 32 bit or 64 bit edition of Vista Home Premium? Again, if you got the 32 bit edition, you'll only be able to utilize 3.2~3.4ish GB of RAM. The 64 bit edition will allow you to utilize a maximum of 18446744073709551616 bytes of RAM lol (I think). But with notebook chipsets these days, they only support up to 4 GB (although I have an Intel article that says they have laptop chipsets that support 8 GB of RAM....)
