Sure, you can upgrade to a faster single core Turion ML or MT series processor. The service manual should help you to disassemble the notebook to access the cpu...

The MT series might not be fully supported by the BIOS and so you might have to use a third party utility like RM clock to control the power management by yourself. Make sure you have the latest available bios before trying to upgrade.

Miner, thanks for your fast reply !

My dv8210us is already part-disassembled. I'm replacing my lcd ( vertical lines problem ). So now I'm thinking about an cpu upgrade.

If it is not ask too much... can you put a vendors link of turion ML single core processor, so I can have sure what I must buy ?

Thanks again, and sorry for my bad english.

Since these cpu's are now discontinued AMD has removed the information from their website but you will most likely find used or OEM samples and they should be easily recognisable based on the OPN codes. Wikipedia has a list of the ML series Turions along with the OPN codes for each processor. This should help in identifying the cpu since the OPN should be marked on the cpu core.

Great ! Thank you very much for your support and time !

Just one more question ( the last one, I promise you ! :D ) :

My processor is an 1.8ghz ML-32. If I buy an ML-40 , 2.4Ghz , the improving performance will be noticeable ?

    Thanks

Well, it depends on what you want to do. If its for just basic uses(surfing the web/ email etc) then not much of a difference but you will notice some difference in tasks which require more cpu power(encoding).
