Long story short I just got a Lenovo x100e. It has an AMD L625 Dual Core chip. When checking the temps on it with HWMonitor, I got a bit of a shock. At idle it says about 65C at idle and 95C while watching youtube 1080p videos! I refuse to believe it. The laptop runs cool and the vent where the heat comes out of is just mildly warm. When ran both RMclock and Speedfan and both said the core temps were ~20c lower than what HWMonitior. I understand that these programs aren't 100% correct, but a 20C difference between them has to mean that something is wrong with one of them. Insight is extremely welcome.

Some programs access temperatures different ways, and most of the time, reported temperatures aren't in simple temperatures - the programs have to calculate offsets and such depending on the processor. So, there are errors - HWMonitor likely has some problem with your CPU.

HWMonitor is likely mistaken.
It also showed temperatures on my CPU (P7350) as being 10 degrees C above of where they should be.
I use RealTemp myself, but for you, if SpeedFan and RMclock both report lower temps, and you physically simply don't feel the heat emanating from the vents or the laptop is that high, then HWMonitor is likely mistaken.
Just out of curiosity, how long do you have this laptop?
and when was the last time you cleaned it out? -
HWMonitor is lying, or so I think/hope.
