After running Hwmonitor for abt 5 minutes, the temperature of my Core# 1 jumps to more than 40, at idle, even though Core# 0 is at 31. BUT as soon as i close HWmonitor and run it again after like 10 minutes, both my cores are at 31, but after letting HWmonitor run for abt 1 minute, my Core# increases. i have checked and seen this process happen abt 7 or 8 times. what do u guys think?

My HWM 1.10 always shows 3-4 degrees difference between CPU cores. Don't know why or if it's correct.

Same here, my core#1 is always a few degrees warmer than core#0

The temp sensor for core 1 is actually between the cores thats why its always hotter. Its getting residual heat from the other core.

I'm using 1.08 and I see no increase in temp nor 3-4 degree differences between both cores.

1.08 here too, but I see typically about 5 degrees difference.

Try using coretemp or RMclock to monitor cpu temps

There will always be differences between the cores, not both of them work non stop(as not all apps are dual threaded).

HWMonitor and RMClock show the closest values for me, so that`s what I trust.
