    Hello

I have looked around week now something help from internet but without success. Well I remembered this place where I caught last time help.

I ran virusscan (Avast full scan) and its allways freeze on NlsLexicons####.dll files. But around 20- 30 minutes after frozen scan continues. And at result it says I/ O device error. Lot of people says that the I/ O error is from dying hard drive and I started to do some thinks what I saw in internet conversations.

I ran SFC /SCANNOW but it froze at 87 % and says Windows cannot perfomance service of security or something like that. So I tried another think what said I should do Windows boot checker and fixer. "Scheulete think" at boot.

Well I did it and result was "Make backup from your data and run hard drive diagnosic from bios" I didn't do that because I wanted to check what Defraggler says piriform one.

And in here its says follow:

First what but in my eye was read error it is in red platform and I checked from google and its about my hard drive is dying.

My laptop is around 1 and half year old and varrantely went off half year ago.

    Power Cycle Count: 1290 counts
    Using hours: 244 D 18 H
Hard Drive is: SAMSUG HM500JJ 500.1 GB

Well if Im right my hard drive is goign to forever sleep.
So I would like to ask some questions before it goes there.

    So here they comes:

    1. So is my Hard Drive goign to die?
1.1. If yes, Is it there any resolution to fix it or anything to make it working proberly again.
    2. How long that Hard Drive will run from now? or is it just 50/ 50?

Well now Windows pop up me this:
"Windows deceted a hard disk problem." So I think it is in this.?

    3. I have thought if I should buy external Hard Drive. Or is this anything idea?
3.3. If yes can you tell me some good ones?

And in the end my laptop is HP DV6 3050so
    Windows 7 home premium OS.

Thanks that person who can help me.

Disconnect the drive and run the virus scan on a different machine.

Back up anything you need to save (full system image if possible) NOW. Any drive that is freezing and throwing errors is likely not long for this world, and further use is likely to result in more problems. I/O errors sounds like a hardware problem.
