Okay, So i was trying to install Unbuntu on my second hard drive. During partitioning it said. ERROR!!! And it had to do with the Kernal or somthing like that. But then, in the Unbuntu partitioning table, all sdb (2nd Hard drive) Partitions dissapeared. I Booted into windows. There was 28.4gb of Unallocated space. So i attempted to make a partition out of it. It said ERROR NOT ENOUGH SPACE.
There was a RAW partition next to it. So i formatted that one. Once it got to 100% it froze, I pretty much knew that exiting would screw it up....but that was the only option.
I Exited and went back into disk management hoping for the best
And i was shocked at what i saw.
The HDD Said it had 1.8 TB of diskspace. Its only a 120gb Hard drive yet it shows that there is 1.8TB of storage!
I Guess i pretty much screwed it up.....Any ideas on if its possible to fix?...

Wow.. that is a new one for me to see. Altho im sure someone here has. I would say, just get anything off there that you can and just reformat.

Use a linux livecd or other recovery bootcd such as Hiren's CD to reformat that drive into a single partition fat32, then go from there with your linux installation.

I Doubt it would work. Linux cant even detect it really. I Dont want to risk screwing up anything else right now. Ima just leave it alone for a bit. But unless you are sure this will work. Ill give it a try Tomarrow

When you say "really"...what do you mean. If your temperatures are below max operating levels then either you have a faulty hard drive or your format is the only thing messed up. Reformatting into any format with a single partition will bring you to the point where you were before starting to install your linux distro.

Try another 3rd party program to do the format. Also, do you have the option to move the drive to another device/computer to try reformatting there? If your drive is still under warranty, send it in...

Nah. Ive been looking for an excuse to get a bigger and faster secondary HDD.
I Just ran HD Tune, and No errors were found. So i guess its just a formatting error. I Will do some tests in the morning. Thanks though

If you are still having problems with the formatting, check the HDD manufacturer's website for any formatting utility.

THanks for the help guys. I Fixed it
I Tried reformatting but it came up with errors saying it couldnt reformat the disk. Then i went to disk management and deleted all the partitions...this increased the disk capacity to 2.8 TB (Terrabytes) SO I went back to my computer and clicked D: (I Was suprised it was still there) It said it needed to format, and To my amazement it said the capacity was 120gb. I was hoping this last format could fix it. And thus it did, i Checked back at disk management and everything is back to normal! :)
