Is it worth buying hard drives with ncq? I'm looking for a new hard drive and wondered if ncq is worth the extra money. Thanks

I don't think it is at this point. From the reviews I've read, it doesn't really speed up this first generation of hdd w/ it. I've heard servers would benefit most now........ but that's just my opinion ;)

It will all depend on what type of work you are doing on the comptuer. What applications are you using and are they disc intensive.

That harddrive will have more than enough power and performance for video editing and gaming.
The 320Gb 5400 drives are currently on par with the fastest 200gb 7200 drives.

I would not get a Toshiba harddrive, Samsung and Western Digital have had 320gb 5400's out for a while, which have good performance and good reviews.
Toshiba and fujitsu generally make lower quality drives, so stick with WD or Samsung.
