    Does anyone know how i can find out the speed of my hard disk (rpm)? I dont have any manuals with this laptop

    One way is to download and run Belarc adviser. When I run it on my laptop it gave me the model number of my hard drive. I pasted the model # into google and it told me the brand, rpm, etc.

    Sure wish you'd change your user name...it could be offensive to some. I'm sue you don't mean it that way.

    You can also find the HDD model number using Device Manager. Then use Google to check the details, preferably at the manufacturer's site - some retailers get the info wrong.
