    Hard drive question!!!!!!

    I put a WD scorpio sata hard drive in my laptop about a month ago,everything is ok,but on WD SUPPORT PAGE i noticed there were jumpers,(default,RPS,SSC),should i just leave it alone or do i need to change jumper?

    leave them alone. Generally speaking, SSC addresses possible EMI issues, generally only for very sensitive work areas, RPS is for external drives.

    Just leave them be, if everything is working fine, there is no need to go fiddling around.

    best advice for stuff ur not sure about: leave it alone... twiddling with it can cause more problems only...

    Changing the jumpers could effect the performance of the drive also... The way you have it is the correct way.
