I have a Presario 2108CL that came with a 60gb 4200rpm drive. I want to replace the drive with a 160gb 5400rpm model. Is there any way I can check the maximum supported drive size for my system?

There is none. All that's required is that it uses the same interface (IDE, SATA, SCSI, whatever), and that the OS supports it. (Windows XP before SP1 or 2 - can't remember which one - has trouble with partitions greater than 137 GB or so. With SP2, that's not a problem)
