Is it possible to upgrade to a 250gb pata hard drive in this laptop? I'm trying to do it right now and keep having issues. I loaded the latest BIOS update but that didn't seem to help.

First tried to clone the original drive onto the new 250gb. It wouldn't boot. Then tried to just do a fresh XP install and it blue screens everytime.

Can you re-insert the first drive to see if the computer will boot for you?
