I'm about to upgrade to the biggest baddest hard drive I can find for my Dell E1505.
I'm currently looking into the following. Suggestions please!

    Serial ATA-300, 7,200 RPM, 8MB
    Seagate - ST9160823ASG

    Hitachi Travelstar 7K200 HTS722016K9SA00 160GB Hard Drive
    Serial ATA-150, 7,200 RPM, 16MB
    Hitachi - 0A50939

    Seagate Momentus 7200.2 ST9160823AS 160GB Hard Drive
    Serial ATA-300, 7,200 RPM, 8MB
    Seagate - ST9160823AS

Both Hitachi and Seagate are good. Seagate has a 5 year warranty.

200 GB 7k200 is the best choice at the moment.

Next up would be a 320 GB 5400 rpm drive but only if you really need space more than speed.
