Hi, when my laptop's cylinder icon stays on, which gets my computer stuck, My computer event log says that at the time it happens, it is a Audit Failure: Microsoft Windows Security Auditing Failure. I have no idea what that is, does anyone know any way that you can help me? Thanks!

Could you give me an event number for it?

There seems to be multiple event ids associated with audit failure.

You can set Windows to autoend any process/program on shutdown and set a time to wait in seconds before it ends the process. There's an option to clear the pagefile on exit, that speeds up the shutdown process. A registry tweaker will have access to this usually. Also run 'services.msc' and stop, disable services you think are useless but be careful you should look up a documentation on this topic as you might stop/disable a vital service needed to run Windows.
