Harddrive SMART Warning - Sector Allocation Error, is this problem fixable ? Or is this the sign for a new harddrive?

Download and run the HDD manufacturer's diagnostic software.
You can also run ActiveSmart for a month as a trial. It continuously monitors the SMART data and reports any changes so you can see if something is getting worse.

Before you do anything, backup your data. Then you can run a more intensive Hardware Check.
