I wanted to start a thread for two subjects: big drive storage and PCIe cards. (or possible for links to existing ones so everything is in one place)
What are the current options for 1TB+ HDD's for 2.5" form factor? Only 5400 RPM? I can't find any 7200 RPM ones. And what about bigger? The only 1.5TB ones I see are Seagate, and from what I read over the last 6 months, Seagate drives are going to crap in terms of reliability/longevity. Any updates on this?
And does anyone remember that thread that had a huge list of PCIe cards? It was awesome but I can't track it down. It had a list of all the possible PCIe options one could have in their laptop, and it wasn't limited to wireless cards or tv tuners - it had so much more, and links to places to buy them. Real cool stuff I can't even remember that we never even think of.

I can't tell what you're looking for with the cards. You mean mini PCI-E?
like the opposite of this?

I really think 99% of all adapters are on Ebay. -
Thanks for the links, but no. The two topics are not related.
I was referring to a thorough guide someone on here made (I was hoping someone remembered) on all the options for the PCI express card slot for our notebooks.
