This is the site in question: Laptops, Notebooks & Tablet PCs | Custom Gaming Laptop Computers
There is little review on this site and I am feeling sketchy about buying from this site for several reasons.
When I read the review on the Laptops they are obviously fake.
Sometimes there are doubles of the same comment on the same page made by different people.
Sometimes the prices don't make sense, high prices for weaker laptops and lower prices for more powerful components.

Please either justify my suspicions or let me know if you have had positive experiences with this site.

They've been around since 2003, and most scam websites barely last a year. Should be alright. -
Any more feedback on agearnotebooks.com?

Lol first talk about the website, scam here scam there.
They are legit, have several friends whom bought from them -
I can confirm they are legit but cheesy LOL. My buddy bought a computer from them about 2 years ago. Very happy with it too.

Ok, thanks jaug1337 and jsipe007, that's the kind of confirmation I wanted.

:Good luck with your purchase! Their website reminds me of Fry's or something similar. Almost like a completely packed magazine ad. I asked around and a few of my coworkers have also bought from agear recently. I would definitely buy with confidence.
(sorry just wanted to give you a more recent update. companies can and have changed in 2 years. thankfully agear still has a good rep) -
Prostar Computer Company Representative
They're sponsored by Yahoo! e-commerce and verified with PayPal. They also check out fine on W.O.T.

The only thing you don't want to go off of is user ratings. Internet marketing specialists, well... specialize, in promoting through seemingly real user accounts, when in fact they're made simply to post a fake review. You might see 10-20 different user reviews, and they could all be from one person under different pseudonyms.
Site looks fine, though. -
You should buy a notebook by watching its specifications not by reviews because they can b fake as you said. But if you want to see reviews then go for a good and trustable website. This website is totally looking spammy with full if ads.
Has anyone bought from this site, is it legit?
