or do you think it would be a better idea to try and fashion a bezel somehow? maybe 3d printed?

i think you can figure out my predicament.... i want to be able to replace my panel with a matte screen, and i want to stop dealing with all the hair and the nicks it gets from closing it......

I have removed the Touchscreen Digitizer Glas from my Front Display Frame in my ASUS X200CA/F200CA, so i got rid of the air gap between Touchscreen und Panel and replaced the TN Screen with a nice glare IPS Screen. I am really happy with the Screen now, the lost of the Touchscreen doesn't disturb me.
