    Hello,

Need desktop RAM that's PC133, 256MB, and Newegg has a good price ($27 shipped), but I've never heard of the manufacturer - Buffalo. There are no reviews. Has anyone else had any experiences with the brand?

for memory I have not, but if it's the same company or a subsidiary brand of Buffalo Wireless products ( http://www.buffalotech.com/products/wireless.php) then yes. They're fine as a brand I believe, not high-end but their stuff works.

BUffalo is a very good company with excelent wireless products and are into networks storage. ( Google Terabyte NAS or 2 Terabyte NAS ). But if their ram is as good as their networks i'll trust them.

IIRC, people have had good results with Buffalo RAM. Sometimes RAM can be fickle and a good stick may not work when it's supposed to, or you may get a bad stick.

Buffalo should work. That's why Newegg is great, people write reviews for most of the things they buy. You almost never have to buy something cold that way.

I've heard of buffalo and they're actually pretty good from what I have read in reviews.

    Cheers,

The logo on the RAM looks the same as the logo on the wireless, so it must be the same company. I think I'll go for it... Thanks guys!
