I am going to have to have one of my laptops serviced by Repairmaster, and I was wondering if anyone has had any good/bad comments about their work.

Repairmaster is the warranty service which fixes laptops after the first year from RJTECH and otehr Clevo/Compal/ASUS/MSI ODM's.

I really need to get the motherboard in my laptop replaced, and I would really like to hear anyone's experience(s) with them.

Never mind guys, I fixed my motherboard.
If it gets to the point where the manufacturer and the people lie to me, I am going to get to the problem myself.
I spent 9 hours last night working on my motherboard.
I found a loose voltage IC and I managed to get a new one overnighted from Mouser electronics.
I then found a paint chip on the board, and a cut wire on the PCB. I used acetone and I carefully pulled back the layer ontop of the wire and I resoldered it.

Everything is now working except for the inner right speaker, so I am extremely happy now.

I would suggest contacting Clevo directly. As I understand, your warranty expired, right? I have Sager NP5790, and my motherboard will have issues if i were to upgrade my 8700 to an 8800. I know that Sager offers a repairing service, so wouldn't doubt it if Clevo has one too. I know it will cost money, but at least you get it done by the experts. I found this contact info:

    USA Service Center
    ADD: 659 Brea Canyon Rd, Suites 4 & 5 Walunt, CA91789
    TEL: +1-909-598-2263
    FAX: +1-909-598-0015

Let me know if this helps.
