LOL that's the first time I've seen a link to Home Depot on here!

Well, there's a first for everything!

 Sorry for the stupid comment.

Your local hardware store almost certainly carries the kind you need. Larger stores with hardware departments will also have them. If you're in the United States then Sears is a good example. Radio Shack also has perfectly decent little sets.

try ace hardware, they have a lot of those little things. also, try asking your dad to open it, depending on your age and strength, maybe that's what's lacking, not to be cruel, but an option not seen possibly.

The best kit I have found outside of some of my custom and professional laptop repair tools are the craftsmen professional series mini-screwdriver kits. Jsut go to sears and pick one up. I had my brother pick one up for himself, and the few times I have used them they felt pretty good, and fit very well.

Here is a link to the kit I am talking about:

    http://www.sears.com/sr/javasr/prod...ical=TOOL&pid=00941633000&subcat=Screwdrivers

Includes all the smaller torx screw ones that are commonly seen on laptops these days.

The thing is I dun want to wrap the screw. Once the cross pattern on the screw is mess up, I dont think I can do anything on it unless I break the cover...
Well, I bought a kit by Staley in Home depot and it works!! NEVER EVER buy the kits from walmart/ dollar general!
    Thanks for comment!!
