Looking at buying a laptop not necessarily to run video games, but will once in awhile play them on lower settings. I am more concerned about heat generated. What is the comparison for heat between these cards, or is there any difference??

    ATI Radeon HD4530
    ATI Radeon HD4570
    ATI Radeon HD4650
    Standard Intel X4500HD

Again not really looking at video power but a decent comparison for how much heat will be generated from normal use by these cards..Thanks

It largely depends on the design of the cooling system that is implemented by the manufacturer... a well-designed computer would keep the temperatures anywhere between 50 and 75C, though of course this is a large range. Typically the ATI cards idle in the high 50s while the Intel IGP, which is a far weaker card designed for lower power consumption, is not at all a concern in terms of heat output.

There are three things to look at: 1 is TDP (this is probably the least important though since it's not representative of actual power consumption), 2 is actual power consumption, and 3 is the laptop chassis cooling system (and most important).

TDP and power consumption can be compared linearly, as more power consumption tends to be graded with higher TDP, so 4500MHD < HD 4530 < HD 4570 < HD 4650. Cooling system depends on the laptops you're looking at and cannot be generalized.
