I have to change my defect heatsink and would like to make sure to avoid compatibility issue on arrival of item.

    My Heatsink part# is AT0CX0040R0 DXON 0A 105K.

I found some AT0CX0040R0 and AT0CX0030R0 on ebay (both look the exact same) but
they dont have the same ending digit part number has mine (0A 105K)

Heres how mine look like: http://www.itsurplusliquidators.com...ab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/d/s/dsc07119_1.jpg

So the question is simple... would I be good with any of the AT0CX0030R0/AT0CX0040R0 sold on ebay, even if they dont have the same last digit part number ? (DXON ## ####) ??

    - Also, have you ever seen a heatsink going bad like this ? ( https://www.dropbox.com/s/aohmdp8irwml7t5/2013-06-16 20.17.23.jpg) <-- (this is not my actual heatsink)
Can a heatsink actually break ? is it something common/possible) ? The picture is showing the exact same problem im having (warm-cold copper at end just before radiator)

    Thanks
