    Hi all.
I want to creat a new partition, because I only have one (well... two, the second is the recovery partition for my notebook).

I have windows xp, and when i installed it, i didnt create a new partition, so I only have the OS partition with everything... and i want a second partition to put there my things.

I tried to create a new one using Partition Magic, but it gives me some errors and i can't create a new one. (if you need the log to help me, just tell me pls)

I tried using Paragon Partition Manager too, but it says "this hard drive contains invalid partition (s)"

Here is an image of the main menu: http://img341.imageshack.us/my.php?image=particionod6.jpg

I have already defragmented the disk but it is still giving me the errors.

    What can i do?
Someone told me that deleting all the partitions and installing windows xp again could work, but i dont know.. i'm not sure it will work... first i want to know if i can fix it without formating the hd. If you know that it will work... or you had a similar problem and you fixed it, please let me know.

    Thanks in advance.

    Bye

Helped me also.. I did it once but didn't like the size of the new partition so i "remerged" the size back into the original partition, and then made a new partition that was bigger. And it seems to have locked up whilst creating the new partition. Well, not really locked up, just stuck, as in Vista's little spinning circle thing. Everything else works though (programs).

nvm, it worked. Awesome link man.
