    i want to buy this

    OCZ 2GB PC2-6400 DDR2 SODIMM Memory 800MHz RAM

    for my Dell 1520 but i need help with whether or not it will be compatable?

    It should be fine, DDR2 RAM is backwards compatible.
    you should be good with 6400 5400/5300

    Santa Rosa notebooks(1520) cant fully use 800mhz ram. It will downclock it to 667mhz so it would be easier to better to get 667mhz ram.
