I would like to upgrade the ram in my Dell Precision M6600 to have 2x8GB in the primary slots and 2x8GB in the secondary slots.

I would like these to be Kingston HyperX, but there is a bewildering choice, even if sticking to this brand.

I would like the fastest/best I can get that will fit and budget isn't a consideration.

Please could you advise the spec to get.

Thanks in advance for your help and suggestions

There's really not all that much difference between different models/brands of RAM. Just get whatever spec your system came with (say, 1600MHz) and buy whatever model of RAM is on sale that has decent reviews (which is nearly all of them).

Personally, I'd try to get whatever is cheaper,... I've had Kingstomn Hyper X RAM (was a free upgrade) and really, nothing special about it. Look on ebay for deals. I managed to get an 8GB Crucial RAM stick for £30 which was an absolute bargain because the owner wanted to sell it off quick...
