Hi,
i have toshiba satellite A105-s2031 and my batt. is dead.
in search of a new battery i found a few options online, but iam stuck on the fact that:
my laptop battery (model no.PA3451U-1BRS) says DC14.4V-----2000mAh--4cell
when i did search of same model no. i came up with the following link which says DC10.8V-----4400mAh---8cell
http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-Battery-for-Toshiba-pa3451u-1brs-pa3457u-1brs_W0QQitemZ390019361750QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item390019361750&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1234|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318|301%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A50
my question is what does different Volt have to do with it???
will it make a difference??
also where i live we have 240volts not the US 110V
please let me know if anyone has the ans.
thanku very much![]()

Commander Wolf can i haz broadwell?
It's not totally unusual for laptops to have several compatible batteries with different capacities and slightly different voltages. Usually this isn't a problem, but the battery to which you've linked doesn't look like a genuine battery, so the voltage might different from that of an official 8-Cell. Your mains voltage has no relation to your battery voltage at all.
I'm sure the battery will work with your laptop; it's just a matter of how well and how long. I'd go look for a genuine 8-Cell if I were you.
Help choosing laptop battery...!!!
