Hey everyone, I just bought a used sony vaio for a real good price, the owner said the touchpad wasn't working so I use a mouse (which I like better). I don't really need the touchpad but it'd be nice to get it working. I've tried googling and going into the control panel/mouse settings -- there's no tab or any settings for the touchpad.

Also tried all the function keys and that didn't work. I know a little about computers, but yall know a helluva lot more than me so please help!

I think what might have happened was he reloaded all the new software and used something that wasn't from a laptop (it has windows xp). And it doesn't have any touchpad settings.

here's some of the information, don't know if this is helpful or not:
    Model name: VGN-A250(UC)

CPU: intel pentium m processor 1.6GHz
    System Memory: 1.25 Gb
    Cache Memory: 2048Kb
    Video Memory: 64Mb
    Internal HDD: 80.026Gb

If this is in the wrong section, please move it, didn't know where it goes
