I am trying to install a Kingston Hyper X 250GB in my HP laptop running win 8. I was able to clone my hard drive to the SSD. I was able to install it in the computer on port 2 with the hard drive on port 1. The Bios was able to see the SSD. When I boot the computer win 8 was not able too see the SSD.
    Help whats my next move?

Try to install just the SSD into port 1 - without any other drives installed.

If that works - then attach the HDD via USB (adaptor or external enclosure) and format the drive (after you have moved/copied the data off, of course).

Now, if you install it into the notebook's internal drive bay, you should have no problem using both drives.

If having just the SSD installed doesn't work: either the cloning process was borked or the SSD compatibility is in question with your specific setup/system.

    Good luck.
