http://www.desktopreview.com/ that's more what you're looking for. in any case, there's a plethora of further options you need to consider, such as if you want to go SLI at some point, if you want to attach any further PCIe cards, how many HDDs you want to hook up, etc etc.

You're in the wrong forum. Try forum.desktopreview.com for more assistance. If you want my opinion though, you're wasting your money on the CPU and DDR3 memory. Stick with a Q9450 for 1/5 the price (or less) and DDR2. Plus the ATI HD 4850 is far better than the 9800 GT, on special, prices are near the 9800 GT (maybe a bit more, but if its like $20-30 more, I would consider it).

Yeah, you should go to desktopreview.com, one of out sister sites. Your current user ID and password work there I believe.

As for the memory, the brand doesnt usually matter.

Although, ive used OCZ lately, and like it. :)

Totally agree on the money-waste of CPU!
Was actually my first thought, why waste money on that CPU when there i other quad cores for better price!

And choosing DDR3 is also a major money-waster! There is no performance to win with DDR2 on intels s775 boards as the memory-part isn't one with the CPU like AMD or new core i7. So there is just money-waste if you don't get DDR2 for a s775 CPU today! Hehe.
