    Hello there!
A few months ago I purchased an Omen 15 ce027 from a retailer that added in 1 ram stick and an m2 SSD. I recently wanted to open it up, clean it up and re-paste it but came into contact with a very stripped screw once inside of the laptop. Now I've tried gently unscrewing the screw using a smaller screwdriver but I managed to destroy the screw even more...
So any ideas how to get around this situation?

Use a long nose/thin plier and grab it from the sides.

That might be worth giving it a shot, but the problem is that it's still screwed in. Well as long as I get it out and can replace it with something it will be good I suppose.

You grab from the sides and turn a bit, after like 1/4 turn it will be free and you can use a screwdriver to unscrew it, then, replace the screw.

@FireLantern cover everything with bubble-wrap, make a cutout for the screw and tape all edges, use a dremel to make a notch, unscrew with flathead. That's how I dealt with a stripped screw on my laptop's heatsink. Only you need to tape surroundings very well, if metal dust comes in contact with the motherboard you're screwed.

Off, that sounds very risky. I mean I'm willing to try anything at this point so if the plier method will fail I guess I could turn to this :/
