What is this? A MSI Wind?
-
Yea, sorry forgotten to indicate the unit.
-
I confirm Wolfs component Id's
-
1 wifi
2 hard drive
3 ram
4 CPU fan
5 heat sink (CPU+NB)
6 south bridge -
Okeh, so I guess that's a confirm answer since both suggest that 5/6 are nb/sb.
Thanks.
Any comments about the temperatures? -
they are all fine temps, and are in no way dangerous
but what were you doing while useing the laptop to get those temps? -
If I still remember, I think I was surfing net and chatting on MSN, the ACPI stays above 50dc no matter what I'm doing.
And the CPU hovers around 50dc.
It's running Vista, does it affect the temperature compared to XP? -
vista has more eye candy so it may run a little warmer due to more stress running vista compared to XP
-
So true, the CPU is <40 in XP.
But the ACPI still hanging around/ more than 50. -
that really normal don't worry
-
Okay.
Thanks for attending to me
-
no problem my friend
if you have any other questions post here or PM me -

You have really nothing to worry about. I have been running my acer aspire one at 70 degrees for about 10 month. I turned my fan completely off so my acer aspire one is silent now.

Thanks for the assurance.
Help me identify the components - thanks.
