i want to install the a new windows 7 OS
Because my dv6 3060tx comes preloaded with god knows how much bloatware and i think they even modified the windows registry to included programs at startup which 'soluto' says cannot be paused or delayed.

I was wondering if someone would be willing to help me make a guide in the process, and guide me.

Furthermore i had some questions, i have an OEM license, it says :
    "Windows Home Premium OA SEA"

What does the OA SEA stand for, because i was going to download home premium and reinstall it, but i still want to be able to use my license. Do i have to look for a specific version of the home premium ? or will any one do ?

Also, will just using the product key at the bottom of the laptop suffice? or will i have to do something else

If you haven't seen it already, take a look at the guide that is posted in the HP section of the forum: http://forum.notebookreview.com/hp-...-hp-laptop-out-box-guide-2-0-windows-7-a.html.

You can backup your current license and restore it once a clean copy of Windows 7 is installed. The product key on the bottom of the laptop might work, but contacting Microsoft may be required. The former method of backing up/restoring the license is much better as it avoids the activation hassles.
