Hello, I am interested in picking out a good quality external LCD screen to plug into a w3j (14" widescreen aspect).
My criteria would be either 17" or 19" with good response speed, rich color, and overall good experiences with the LCD screen. I have set up a few viewsonic's, dell's and spectre's but I really have no knowledge of these screens.
Please drop some suggestions.
Oh and my price range is a maximum of $350, perferably $300 and under

ViewSonic and Acer has some 19" WideScreen models, which complements your laptops widescreen.
BTW, I like the photo under you nameit is really arranged like that, or is just a trick?

Thanks for the reply. Ill look into those two.
My avatar is from the internet, but the larger picture looks pretty legit. Its based on the principal of the arch / keystone, no cement needed in ancient roman times. Those monitors substitute nicely for bricks.

If you are looking specifically for a widescreen monitor, then I suppose the 19inch widescreen would be fine. But if not, I would recommend a standard 17inch monitor because believe it or not, a 19inch widescreen is SHORTER in height although wider than a 17inch. Of course a 20inch widescreen would be ideal, as they are bigger than 17inch monitors both in height and width.

I have had this one for about 4months as a second monitor on my desktop. It is a great monitor for the price. The only real draw back is it dose not have a DVI only and analog in. But for less then $200 I can't complain. I think I paid like $170 or so for it from newegg but they don't seem to have it anymore.

The BenQ FP91G+ is a great deal for a quality 19" DVI LCD. 260.
