Ok, so I have a Broadcom 802.11 b/g WLAN card. I found the driver section on HP's website, but I want to make sure I have the right one so I don't mess anything up. In the list of computers is has the v5000 and v5000t. Not a v5000z like I have. I just assumed the v5000 was my choice. I currently have the driver version 4.10.40.0 and the new one is 5.00C. How can I make sure this is the right driver? Here is the one I believe is correct.

Also, once I download it, how do I go about updating the old one? I have never done this before.

Sorry for my ignorance. Any help would be appreciated.
