 I'm having a lot of difficulties with my Sony Vaio. I have had it about three and a half years and it's starting to give me a lot of trouble. I let this person use it because they were unable to get to a computer and the next time I got on it, it would load up to the Windows XP loading screen and then it would go to a completely blue screen where it would say something is corrupted. It might even say something about the software but I'm not quite sure. I would do a complete recover if I could, but i have misplaced my recovery or restoration cd's and have no idea where they are. I have even tried to do a recovery partition, but either I can't find it, or my notebook doesn't have that option. I've gone to screen F8 and F10 when I start up my Vaio and it gives me some options to start in Safemode and all that stuff, but no matter what i choose, it restarts and goes back to that safemode screen saying there is some problem. Is there anything else I can do? I've even tried to find more information about it online, but I don't see anything about this model anywhere! Any information that ANYBODY can give me would be so wonderful!
