Hi guys, I have an Acer 8935g with Q9000 processor and 4GB DDR3 Ram. Is it possible/worth overclocking my processor? If its worth it does anyone have an idots guide on how to do this?
Also is it possible for you to check this thread I posted in the Acer area (I think this would have been the better place to ask the question)

All help is much appreciated!!

Yeah, it's worth it to overclock the Q9000 as long as you keep an eye on your temps. As far as what it takes to OC your particular model I have no idea. Most people use setfsb for overclocking--google it.

I don't think the 8930G is supposed by SetFSB, but I don't know for sure. Moral_hazard is probably the user to ask about it.

I will try to help you out if you have problems.
I don't think setfsb supports your notebook, but you can get it supported.
It's not too hard if you have some luck. -
