    Hi guys,

I have recently bought two 128mb PC100 rams to upgrade my current laptop (80 mb ram) however when i put them both in, my computer only recognised one of them. I tried both ports seperately and both cards seperately and they all work.

    ANy help would be great

    thankyou

Perhaps your laptop does not recognize that much RAM, it may be limited to a certain amount. Try putting in one of the older sticks with a newer stick and see if that works. What notebook do you have?

You can probably look up the spec on HP's site to see what the max memory is.

That site has a online tool that you can use to find out how much RAM you can put in your computer. Have you gotten the latest updates for your system? Try looking in your manual, there's always some useful crap in there.
