Ok I got this laptop the HP pavilion DV9730US and I want to be able to play something like Oblivion without any problems. the graphics card is GeForce 7150M will that handle games adequately? If not what card would you suggest I get. The processor's 2.2GHz and memory's 3GB RAM but I plan to upgrade to 4, will this make games run easier too?

And on that matter, what should I look for in a graphics card that has good performance? Please help, thanks!

Thank you. I also saw something about a 8600 GS. Do you know which one's better, GS or GT? And where can I buy the card by itself?

With great difficulty. Google "MXM upgrade" and you'll see where the difficulty part comes in.

Unless you can contact your laptop maker and pay them to ship you out the card if its made for your laptop.

Your graphics card cannot be upgraded.

Read the stickies before asking any more questions.

I dont think any hp laptop features upgradeable graphics.

HP usually fall behind in most categories since they streamline their products to stay competitive with Acer, and Dell.

The graphics card definately cant be upgraded as it is soldered into the system board.
