GOAL: I own Toshiba Satellite laptop (Model: S50D-A-00G). My aim is to find and purchase same brand 8GB RAM version of my currently installed 4GB RAM module. However, willing to purchase and pair with another brand as long as it's likely to match well with my current brand 4GB module of which the specifications are below.

    Manufacturer - Hynix
    Manufacturer Part # - HMT351S6CFR8C-PB
    Memory Type - SODIMM
    Capacity - 4GB
    Pins - 204 Pin
    Bus Type PC-12800
    Error Correction - Non-ECC
    Cycle Time - 1.25ns
    Cas - CL11
    Data Transfer Rate 1600Mhz
    Memory Clock - 200Mhz
    Rank Rank - 2
    Voltage - 1.5
Also written on the module "11-11- F3" (timings?)

    Official page:

I appreciate if anyone can help on this one, thank-you!

I've just seen one from Crucial using their automated tool but it looks like the voltage is different 1.35 as opposed to the 1.5 my current 4GB is this really important?

    Also, seen this model online

    https://www.skhynix.com/products.view.do?vseq=969&cseq=75

and it is from the same company HYNIX but again has diffeernt voltage specs, does anybody know if it will play well with my current module (specs in post 1).

I'm getting a little headache with worrying about RAM matching, I'm starting to think I should just buy two RAM modules of the same type but was hoping to Ave some money lol

Ok after reading on Google looks like Ram mixing can be a big hassle....I'm going to seek out identical ram modules for an easier life..
