I think the activesync in Xp is replaced in Vista as Vista Mobile Device .

Yes i know that it is replaced but the software asks for Active Sync.. It does not use the new one.

See if you can extract the actual .cab from it. If you can, then just move it to device's memory card and tap on .cab - it'll install it itself.
If you have WM2003, then a freeware tool CabInstaller will do it.
I was always doing it this way on my iMate Jam -

How will I extract the .cab. I already have cab installer but I don't know how to use it.

Installing .cab is very easy. You open CabInstaller first, then select the .cab file, quick check through options ( As example - CabInstall tends to delete original .cab after installation. I always tried to keep them as a quick backup)
The problem is your program.. Is it a .msi or just sfx? By the way... what program is it? -

It's a emulator for SNES. It's in .exe file.I tried using Cabinstaller but I need to first ectract the .cab file. I am having trouble with that part.

Try this. Unpack from zip and drop onto your PPC. You need to open the program and feed the victim file to it))) It will try to separate them)

If it won't work, which is quite possible, then you will need to find PC with XP, i'm afraid... -
