I recently took advantage of the clevo m570ru-u deal on ebay and got the lower model (8700m GT).
I got the t9500 processor, 4gb of kingston hyperx low latency ram, and a seagate 7200rpm 500gb hard drive.
Now I need to get the wireless card and am not sure which to get.
I am pretty sure I want the Intel 5300AGN but I am not sure if I need the half version or the full?
I want the internal wireless card that fits the 965 chipset... is the 5300 that card?
Thanks in advance
EDIT: Also ... I am planning on upgrading the GPU within the next month. Should I look at the 8800 GTX or is there anything better that fits the chipset?

If you're going to upgrade the GPU, why not buy the 8800M GTX model directly? It's substantially cheaper that way.

The 5300 was designed for the PM45 chipset. You have the PM965 chipset. I'm not sure of the intercompatibility of the two, but the card I'd get is the Intel 4965agn. As for full/half height, I'm not familiar with the clevo, but you can open it up and see how much room is in there. If the area for the wifi is wider (slot) than long, you need 1/2 height. If the side of the area is longer than the plug side, you need full height. However, 1/2 height will always work, it's just a question of how you can secure it (I have a 1/2 height in a full height slot, but I have it taped down).

Im satisfied! -
All of my laptops are using 5300 and none have PM/GM45 chipsets. Even my netbook with Intel 945GSE chipset is using 5300. -
Ok so you use the full size? I just need to know if it fits im sure the bigger one runs cooler so I want that if it fits. -

In my case, Fujitsu LifeBook S6410 and Dell Inspiron Mini 9 use full size 5300 while Dell Studio 1735 uses half size one. I've never measured the temperatures, so I cannot confirm whether full size one runs cooler or not.
Help with wireless card QUICK PLEASE!!
