    Hello,

I have PS/2 keyboard. I went to the electrionics store today and bought the converter. When I plugged in my keyboard to the USB, nothing works as well as the lights for the Num Lock, Caps Lock, etc. :( Do I have to do something to make it work. I know that the adapter works because when I plugged it into the PS3 system, the lights for the Num Lock, caps lock comes on... Is there a setting I have to change?

I am currently using Vista Home Premium.

Would it work on the Windows XP?

As always... thank you for the help. :)

It should work from the second you boot the system up.
Try plugging the adaptor and keyboard in before loading teh operating system.
Press F2/delete on the keyborard. If the Bios opens, you know the keyboard works. If it does work in the Bios and not in the operating system, than its a software/firmware problem.
If it doesnt work in the Bios, or the operating system, the keyboard may not work. If the keyboard works without the converter, maybe the converter is just no good.

I tried the same thing with similar results; apparently, if it is some old ps/2 keyboard, it won't work via USB without USB drivers (I was unable to find drivers for the old keyboard I was trying to use).
