    Does anyone have a link to a good article with benchmarks on the performance of shingled magnetic drives versus traditional ones? I've read that due to the shingling, write speeds are likely slower, but I haven't seen any benchmarks showing how much slower they are.

    10 TB is pretty impressive nonetheless. We've come quite a ways in the past year in terms of hard drive storage capacity.
