I have an ASUS G1p and i have noticed lately that the HD temperature seems really high. It idles at around 115F which seems a bit high for idle. It hasn't gotten up to 131F and NHC warned me that the temp seemed high. Any suggestions why, or how i can fix this.

115F is only 46c, which is normal.

131F is 55c, which is starting to get too high. If the notebook is not on a flat surface, now would be the time to place it there.

    seems fine.

the danger temp for current notebook HDDs is 60C and above.

so if it floats and stays in the 60C's degrees then you should be worried.

other than that, your temps are fine.

You should monitor your GPU temps in your G1s also
